WHP (Harrisburg) Anchor Al Gnoza is again leaving the station, but this time he’s doing it on his terms.

Gnoza was fired in 2014 from WHTM across the street, after making a joke about Three Mile Island.

He landed at WHP and now has left that station as well on Wednesday.

During his final broadcast, Gnoza shared that he would remain working with the station on special projects through November, and that he had taken a position with the Pennsylvania Catholic Conference.

"I just loved this time with you guys, and I am going to miss this," Gnoza said following a highlights reel of his time with the station."
