All Capps in Dallas

KDFW has announced that they have hired Kylie Capps, a Dallas native as their new weekend-morning meteorologist.

Capps will be on-air during “Good Day Saturday” (7-9 am.) and “Good Day Sunday” (6 a.m.-8 a.m.), and will report and produce weather on other newscasts and on digital platforms.

She comes from KXXV in Waco, where she also did weekend mornings meteorologist.

She has also worked at KOTV in Tulsa.

Capps fills a vacancy that’s been open since May, when former weekend-morning meteorologist Jennifer Myers left after about six years with the station.
