FTVLIve FIRST told you that WTAE (Pittsburgh) was cutting ties with Weather Anchor Ray Petelin.

Despite losing his job, Petelin. remained active on social media. still giving his fans the weather reports and keeping a positive attitude.

And while it seems that WATE was no longer interested in him, KDKA was.

Petelin is now working as a fill-in, freelance employee at KDKA and hopes that it turns into a full-time gig.

He tipped viewers off on social media as to his return to the air in the Burgh.
