New Anchor Hire in the Rapids

KGAN/KFXA (Cedar Rapids) has made a new Anchor hire.

The station announced that they have hired Christopher King as the new weeknight anchor.

He'll join Karen Fuller weeknights on the CBS 2 News at 6 and 10 p.m. and Fox 28 News at 9 starting next week.

“We're thrilled to have Christopher King join our award-winning news team. Christopher has a rich history of covering major news events in addition to covering politics. Eastern Iowans will get to see firsthand his solid reporting as well as anchoring of major breaking news. He’s excited to join the team at CBS2/FOX 28 and put his years of experience to work in the Corridor,” said News Director Becky Lutgen Gardner.

He starts at the station next week.
