Women Take Charge

As some nasty weather rolled through the Oklahoma City viewing area this week, all the stations broke into programing to deliver the latest on the severe weather in the area.

I’m not sure if this is a first, but I know that I have never seen it.

All the stations were on the air and all the severe weather coverage was fronted by female meteorologists.

It was refreshing to see and it is a scene we hope we get to see more of in other markets.

Call me a feminist if you want, but that is one hat I wear proudly.
