Starting in April a robot named Erica will start anchoring the news in Japan.
Intelligent Robotics Laboratory at Osaka University director Hiroshi Ishiguro says that he has been working on getting "Erica" on the air for almost 4 years.
“We’re going to replace one of the newscasters with the android,” Ishiguro said.
