Topping the Ratings on NYE

People in Chicago had their local train wreck to watch and it didn't involve the Reporters smoking weed on the air. 

ABC O&) WLS puts on their own New Year's Eve show for the viewers in Chicago and it is so bad, that people can't help themselves from watching it. 

You just needed to load up Twitter to see what viewers thought of the Chicago show. 

“I can’t believe TV this terrible is still made annually in a market like Chicago,” wrote @dganstine. “It is fabulous.”

“I can’t decide whether to laugh or cry. But I do know that I can’t stop watching,” wrote @elizabeth2494.

“What in God’s name is going on in this broadcast?” asked @paulgamboa.

But, the broadcast was easily the most watched show on Chicago TV on NYE's. Overnight ratings showed more than half a million households — 39 percent of the TV sets in use at the time — were tuned to “Countdown Chicago” at midnight.

This is just a small taste of what the viewers in Chicago got to see.
