Hoda Won't Be Making Lauer Money

NBC named Hoda Kotb as Matt Lauer's replacement, but they are also saving a boatload of money at the same time.

Page Six says that Kotb will be making about $18 million less per year than her disgraced male predecessor.

NBC sources say Kotb landed a $7-million-a-year deal — the same as co-host Savannah Guthrie. Lauer, of course, was getting $25 million a year until he was fired in November for “inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.”

Although Kotb will be a much bigger presence on Today than Megyn Kelly, she will also be nowhere close to Kelly's $20 million bucks a year contract either.

How fair is that?
