From Anchor to News Director

There are a number of on air changes going down at WDHN (Dothan, AL) and one includes the Anchor becoming the News Director. 

Main Anchor Ben Stanfield (pictured) is moving off the late newscast to become the station's ND. Stanfield will still Anchor the station's 5 and 6PM newscasts. 

He will be replaced at 10PM by Tonya Pruitt.

Pruitt worked previously as a reporter for WDHN in the early 2000s.

WDHN also announced that they have hired Mike Gurspan as the station Sports Anchor. 

"I am proud to have Mike and Tonya on our team here at News 18," Stanfield said. "They will both bring a tremendous amount of knowledge and professionalism to our team, and we're all excited about the future of the area's dominant local news leader."
