Raycom Hires New ND

Raycom's WMC-TV in Memphis has been without a news director, since last February when Tammy Phillips resigned and then went to corporate as a recruiter.  The station just announced its promoting from within.

Greg Phillips, currently the deuce at the Raycom station in New Orleans, WVUE-TV, will be the new ND. WVUE GM Mikel Schaefer put out this memo to the staff:

Phillips' last day in N.O. is February 8th. Knowing Raycom, his first day at WMC will be Feb 9th.
