Yu responds to every person that replies to her on social media and she does it a positive way. No cut and paste responses, always an update message and a genuine "thank you."

Yu tells people that, "These people took the time to reach out to me and I am truly honored and thankful that they did so," She says she feels like its a responsibility to message them back and says that she is more than happy to do it. "I enjoy it," she tells friends.

Yu is that rare person that walks into a newsroom and the energy goes up. "She brings such positive vibes to work each and every day," said one of her co-workers.

When it comes to telling stories, Yu does it with near perfection. The story is never about her and she makes sure that the subjects of the stories are the focus and the stars.

When you work in TV news, you meet a lot of people, you will be hard pressed to meet someone nicer or better at their job than Annie Yu.
