The news management house cleaning is all but done at Meredith owned WGCL in Atlanta. 

FTVLive was the FIRST to tell you that the station was parting ways with News Director Frank Volpicella after just one year. 

Since Volpicella left, the station also ditched the Managing Editor, Assignment Manager, and the Operations Manager.

Now, sources tell FTVLive that Senior Executive Producer Darcy Bonfils will work her last day at the station Today. She has resigned from the station and is headed to NY1.

Also, back in August FTVLive told you that former KRIV (Houston) Assistant News Director Howard Dorsey  was spotted in the A-T-L talking to WGCL about a job. 

Sources tell FTVLive that Dorsey has accepted the gig and will be working as a news manager at the station.
