He Wasn't the Only One

WTTG News Director Paul McGonagle wasn't the only TV newsie to head to social media and post their feelings about the NFL players taking a knee. 

WACH (Columbia, SC) Anchor/Reporter Natalie Parsons had this to say on Facebook:

WCVB Reporter Doug Meehan also gave his thoughts about the protests and was a bit more on the mark about freedom of speech. Something Natalie Parsons has not learned just yet.

It is such a tinderbox issue and quite frankly an objective Journalist should just cover the story from both sides and keep their personal opinions to themselves.

But unfortunately, that seems to no longer be the norm in this business and that itself is sad. 

BTW- Puerto Rico residents have no power, drinkable water and the food is running low. You know, just in case you are thinking about posting something else on social media Today.
