Remember 5 days ago, FTVLive told you that an Orlando Anchor that was being pushed down the food chain, stood up and walked out.

Well, the local Orlando paper finally got around to the story, which now means the other TV blogs can finally publish the news that FTVLive gave you a week ago.

The Orlando Sentinel writes Anchor Angela Taylor, who joined WESH in January 2015, has departed, the NBC affiliate confirmed Tuesday.

“She has decided to leave the station,” WESH General Manager John Soapes said. “We wish her only the best.”

Taylor was an anchor on the 5 p.m. news on WESH and the 10 p.m. news on sister station WKCF-Channel 18. Attempts to reach Taylor for comment were unsuccessful.

WESH said it would announce a new anchor lineup later.

The Sentinel gave no props to FTVLive for breaking the story. Thankfully, papers like the Atlanta Journal Constitution still believe in ethics and give credit where credit is due.
