That's Just Not Right

There is an old rule in TV news that stations do not cover suicides or suicide attempts. But, they will stream it on Facebook Live. 

Fox's WNYW in New York put up a live stream on their Facebook page of a desperate man, who was threatening to jump from a bridge. 

Of course the station did not do this for news value, they did it for Facebook views. 104 thousand people tuned in and it is likely that 103 thousand of them were hoping the man would jump. 

This is what this world and TV news has come to. 

Disgusting....
