Former Chicago Anchor and FTVLive favorite Linda Yu is not slowing down after her retirement from WLS in the Windy City.
Yu's name popped up as one of the investors that is buying the Chicago Sun-Times and Chicago Reader.
The investment group outbid Tronc, which owns the Chicago Tribune and several other newspapers nationwide to gain control of the Sun-Times.
Yu joins a group of other boldface names in and around Chicago that bought the paper and will keep its local roots.
Some people retire from TV and enjoy just kicking back. For Yu, the chase of the story is still in her blood.
