No F'ing Way this Tegna Station Really Did This?

You are not going to believe that a Tegna station did this, but we have video proof that it really happened.

Tegna owned KYTX (Tyler, TX) had their Anchors sucking candy off paper plates in the middle of the newscast. 

No! Seriously....this REALLY happened!

The station used the candy sucking incident to promote the fact that the show "Candy Crush" was coming to CBS. Again....this was IN the newscast. 

Just when you thought Tegna could not get anymore shallow when it comes to news coverage, they seem to be able to drain just a little bit more water from the pool. 

This makes me embarrassed for everyone that works in TV news.
