I'm Sorry.....sort of

On Sunday, FTVLive told you (yes FTVLive works 7 days a week) that CNN's Reza Aslan sent out a tweet calling President Trump a "piece of shit."

On Sunday afternoon Aslan kind of figured out that maybe you shouldn't call the leader of our country a, "piece of shit."

So, he kind of, sort of said he was sorry on Sunday afternoon: "I should have used better language to express my shock and frustration," he wrote.

As for CNN, they are trying to back away from Aslan using semantics, "Reza Aslan is not a CNN employee, but does host a series on the network. We are pleased that he has apologized for his tweets. That kind of discourse is never appropriate."

In other words, we're not doing shit and we will keep paying him to put a show on our network, even though he is not an employee of CNN.
