Wait....Isn't That Backwards?

It seems most of the time, a woman wins a beauty pageant and then lands a job in TV news. 

But, Victoria Huggins did it the other way around. 

Huggins,  a Producer and Reporter for WECT's 'Carolina in the Morning' show, won the 80th Miss North Carolina Pageant over the weekend. 

Huggins was named Miss Wilmington last year.

According to a news release from the pageant, 90 young women competed for the title of Miss North Carolina and Miss North Carolina’s Outstanding Teen.
