San Francisco Station's Live Truck is Stolen
/News crews in San Francisco are almost used to having their cameras and laptops stolen, but this time the thief made off with the live truck.
Sources tell FTVLive that KPIX in San Francisco had their live truck stolen last week as they were out covering a story.
Police found the live truck in Berkeley Hills less than 24 hours later.
Bay Area journalist have been victims of crimes some very serious such as shooting, attempted car jacking, stolen cameras in strong and armed robberies in ding assaults.
In the past half dozen years, there have been more than 100 incidents of crimes involving TV news crews.
This latest incident has News Photographers and crews scared and concerned. Many of the newsies have been victims more than once.
