Getting a Jump on the Competition

Work long enough in TV news and it will happen to you. 

You're out shooting a story and you wrap up and get ready to head back to the station. But, as you pile your gear into the news car and go to start it up, the battery is dead. 

That's what happened to a crew from Nashville's WTVF. But, the crew was soon back on the road after getting a jump from the gang over at competitor WKRN.

Back in my day, if it was sweeps and your competition's car was dead, you laugh and then drive off. 

Hell....in those days you might be the reason their car was dead after you pulled the battery cable.

The times have certainly changed my friends.
