Longtime WCAX (Burlington) Reporter and Anchor Judy Simpson is stepping away from the grind of daily news to spend more time with her family.
Seriously, the station said that on air.
The station spent 2:30 telling viewers that Simpson is leaving the station and then tagged the story saying, viewers will still be able to see her on the Noon news with her "across the fence" segment.
In other words, it was a long goodbye for someone that is not really leaving.
Guess that was enough time with the family.
