Reporter Fired After Tweet

There is no doubt that Twitter and social media has cost more Journalists their jobs then it has helped them. 

It seems that stupidity, ego and social media are a bad combination. 

Terry Frei is a Reporter at the Denver Post and this is the tweet he sent out after the Indianapolis 500.

The now deleted tweet got him a lot of backlash and unemployed. 

Frei  then tried to make an excuse with a very lame apology that shows he just doesn't get it at all.
