/WDAF in Kansas City reached 400,000 "Like's on Facebook, which really means nothing.
FTVLive has never understood why stations are so intent on getting viewers to follow them on a platform that they don't own, have any control over and can't sell ads on it. Why not spend that time and effort getting to people to come to your website, something you do own, control and can make money from?
Anyway, to celebrate their 400,000 Facebook likes, station employees lined up to push pies into the face of news Anchor Mark Alford.
Of course, the pie in your eye video was posted to the station's Facebook page. Because you know.....that's what news viewers really want to see.
