ABC Denies Hiring Freeze at O&O's

OK, something is not adding up.... 

Yesterday, FTVLive reported that at least some of the ABC O&O's are under a hiring freeze. 

After FTVLive posted our story, late yesterday evening, we got this email from ABC's Karen Hobson:

Hey Scott – saw the item on your site re: the ABC Owned Stations and just wanted to let you know that the information you have is absolutely not true.

But, we know of two people that are up for jobs at ABC O&O's at two different stations. Both were told by news management that they can't make any hires until the Fall. 

So, it appears that either some people are being told wrong information, or not everyone at ABC is on the same page.
