Tacking on More News in LA

Sources tell FTVLive that Tribune (soon to be Sinclair) owned KTLA is expanding their morning news next month.
KTLA management has yet to put out any memos, but has told some staff that on June 12th the morning news will run from 4AM to 11AM, which adds another hour.
Adding news means adding staff....right?
Well, not in this case. Sources tell FTVLive that Tribune management will tack on more news, but will do it with the same amount of people.
