Let's Scare the Shit out of Parents!

You know sweeps has started when you see some irresponsible Journalism like this from KIRO in Seattle. 

In an effort to be first and with no worry about being right, KIRO Reporter Patranya Bhoolsuwan sent out this tweet:

A bit later, the station followed up with this:

Of course, viewers did not like the isea of the station scaring the crap out of parents for what turned out to be nothing: 

It's sad when the viewers seemed to know more about how to cover the news, then the station does.
