Who's Bright Idea Was This?

It's never enough to just produce great content with compelling video and writing; stations always want to try some gimmick.

Check out the Deathstar's KLAS-TV in Las Vegas. Weather anchor Katie Boer is talking about pollen and and then walks right through the middle of the studio to a monitor wall to discuss air quality.  It provides no viewer benefit whatsoever, other than to show that the camera operators don't make much money based on how they're dressed.

We hope some consultant didn't come up with this idea, otherwise, you'll see a station doing it in every market.
