Out the Door in Columbia

Well that sure didn't last long.

Last year, Raycom's WIS (Columbia, SC) announced they had hired Robb Ellis to its First Alert Weather team as Chief Meteorologist. Ellis

Ellis came to to WIS from WISH (just dropped a letter) in Indianapolis where he was the weekday evening meteorologist.

He started at the station in early March of 2016. By early March of 2017, his bio has been pulled from the station's website and sources tell FTVLive he is gone. 

Raycom has posted Ellis' job opening on the company website. 

Of course, because this is the communications business, no one is talking.
