Scripps Names National Recruitment Director

Tribune's former Senior VP of News is about to resurface at Scripps.
Katherine Green parted ways with Tribune back in 2014 , but is about to pop up in recruitment role for Scripps.
Scripps has named Green the new national director of news recruitment for the Scripps Television division.
Green will lead recruiting efforts for top news management positions in Scripps’ 24 TV markets. She will focus primarily on openings for news directors, assistant news directors and executive producers, employing her nationwide network of connections and developing new relationships with respected news leaders throughout the industry.
Green began her career in various producer and executive producer positions in Jacksonville, Florida; Miami; Tampa; and New York. She also served as news director for WBAL-TV, Baltimore and WTTG-TV, Washington, D.C. She spent three years as senior vice president and general manager for the CNN International Network and was a senior vice president at Tribune Media.
She will begin her new role on Monday, March 27.
