Ernie Anastos Day

Today is a big day in the Big Apple for one local news Anchor. 

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio has declared that Today is “Ernie Anastos Day in New York”.

Anastos is the legendary NY anchor that now works at WNYW, after stints also at WCBS and WABC. 

“It’s without question astonishing to be honored by the city of New York, the greatest place in the world and the people I love the most,” Anastos said.

Some restaurants should offer up chicken specials in honor of this clip in 2009, where Anastos said, "keep fucking that chicken."
