Maddow's Wolf Cry Brought in Big Numbers

Like we predicted, MSNBC's Rachel Maddow's Trump tax stunt worked.
Despite the fact that Maddow and MSNBC totally over sold what they had, viewers fell for the hoax.
This time.
Maddow and MSNBC led viewers to believe that they had President Trump's tax returns. They did, but it was only two pages and it was from over a dozen years ago.
The recent returns, the ones that Trump refuses to release are still under lock and key and nowhere to be seen.
Maddow, teased the tax returns to no end and when she finally did show her hand, she had a pair of 4's at best.
But, Maddow pulled in her biggest rating ever. 4.13 million viewers tuned in between 9 and 10pm. The viewers fell for the stunt and ended up losing an hour of their life they will never get back.
Maddow says the viewers are the one to blame for thinking she was holding pocket aces.
In the end, she wins the ratings, but there is little doubt her credibility took a hit and the next time, viewers might not bite on the bait she is throwing in.
MSNBC can tout her high numbers all they want, in the end both they and Rachel Maddow lost.
