The Tampa Revamp

FTVLive has been telling you that Tegna owned WTSP in Tampa has been blowing up their news operation and starting over.

The low rated station let a number of longtime staffers go and is now replacing them.

The station's morning show is about to get blown up, but News Director Bob Clinkingbeard is leaving much of the staff in the dark. 

The station has made a number of new hires, but so far those people have mainly appeared just on their social media pages and not on air. 

Here's a sample....and in case you didn't know, WTSP has an ELEVATOR! Because you know, no TV station has one of those. 

It appears that April 1st (how appropriate) is the day that the Tegna station will unveil their revamped morning show. 

What happens to the people that are currently working on the show? No one is saying, but you can expect many to be gone.
