NY News Director is Leaving

A longtime Albany, NY News Director says he is leaving the station.
WNYT ND A Eric Hoppel announced that he was ending a 30-year career at the station.
Hoppel started at the station as a Producer.
Hoppel will stay on during the transition to a replacement according to General Manager Stephen Baboulis.
The decision to leave was Hoppel's alone and he has no immediate plans following his departure.
