Nexstar Whacks GM in Raleigh

Sources tell FTVLive that Nexstar has lowered the boom on WNCN GM Doug Hamilton. 

Hamilton has been GM at the station the for almost 5 years. WCNC was taken over by Nexstar in the Media General gobble up. 

Before being bumped up to the big chair, Hamilton spent almost 20 years at the station as Director of Finance & Administration. 

After 25 years working for WNCN, Hamilton is gone.

Sources also tell FTVLive that Ed Trauschke has been named the acting News Director at tghe station. Andrea ParquetTaylor left the station last month for KTVT in Dallas.
