New GM in Arizona

Nothing like starting off the week with a promotion.

Scripps has finally gotten around to naming a GM in Tucson. Leon Clark, who has been the interim GM, is getting the gig full time at KGUN-TV. Clark will run KGUN, KWBA (CW) and both stations' digital channels.

Clark was already working for Scripps, running their radio stations: KMXZ, KQTH, KTGV and KFFN. Previously, Clark launched the sales operations on the West coast for TuneIn. Prior to that, he was market sales manager for CBS in Atlanta.

Clark will run both TV and radio until Scripps hires his replacement on the radio side.
