Another One Out the Door in Atlanta

The high turnover rate at the TV stations in Atlanta continues. 

WXIA's Blayne Alexander is leaving the Atlanta NBC affiliate after 5 years to join NBC affiliate news service NBC Newchannel in Washington, DC.  

Alexander had been weekend morning anchor and reporter during the week, and her last day is Today.

This comes on the heels of the retirement of co-worker and longtime Atlanta TV icon Brenda Wood, and the departure of reporter Jaye Watson, who recently left the station after 18 years for job outside of TV.
