Feeling the Heat
/California news crews are once again finding themselves covering wildfires.
This time the worst is happening in Southern California. Flames being fueled by 70+ MPH winds are making it next to impossible for fire crews to stop.
LA news crews are out in force trying to keep viewers informed as to which areas are in danger.
KABC Photographer Jamie Evans found out why you should always wear your Nomex while covering wildfires. A hot ember landed on Evans' arm and if it wasn't for his Nomex, he would have been nursing a nasty burn Today.
KABC Reporter Marc Cota-Robles shot some video on his phone and it gives you a good idea just how bad it is and how hard the wind is blowing.
