Mickey has announced a new president for the ABC O&O stations. With Rebecca Campbell being promoted to president of the Walt Disney Company Europe, the TV stations needed a new leader. Disney is promoting Wendy McMahon, SVP of Digital, to the top spot. Prior to taking her digital role in 2015, she was director of creative services at KABC-TV.

Also, sources are telling FTVLive that KGO-TV GM William Burton is leaving the station. He's reportedly getting bumped up to an executive position at ABC Entertainment.

Burton has been with Disney for almost 30 years. He started with the company as a promotion writer/producer at WPVI-TV in 1988.

Entertainment gigs are pretty dicey, but we imagine Burton's 401K and employee stock plan are probably as big as Walt's.
