M-I-A In Cincy

Longtime WKRC Anchor Cammy Dierking has been missing the air and viewers are wondering what happened.

Dierking has missed almost the entire month of December, but she wants viewers to know, she has not been let go, or demoted, or left the Sinclair station.

Dierking says she will return as the station's primary news co-anchor after the first of the year.

"It's nice to know people are concerned…. Feel free to tell anyone who asks that I had a minor surgery, but I'm doing well and will be back on the air the first week in January.  Hope you have a Merry Christmas!"

Normally when a longtime Anchor goes missing from a Sinclair station, you just know they aren't coming back.

But, this is a Christmas miracle and Dierking says she'll be back.
