Police Department Calls Out TV Station for Fake News

WOWT in Omaha reported that someone tried to abduct a child from school grounds and that a school resource officer was assaulted.

The Omaha Police and the school district released a joint statement saying that neither of those things was true and that the station ignored them when it came to getting the facts right. 

They released this joint statement condemning the Gray owned station:
