Wow! That Was Quick

Well... it appears that Karl is no longer the Mann. 

Just weeks after Quincy's WHOI (Peoria) hired Karl Mann as the station's morning Anchor is suddenly gone. 

“I can say that Karl worked for us and he is not working for us now,” said Mark DeSantis, GM for WHOI. 

Mann came to WHOI in early October. He was the full-time replacement for Eric Greene, who in May was terminated by the WHOI parent company. 

Sources told the Journal Star that Greene was fired over a personnel issue. Other sources suggested a personnel issue led to Mann’s departure.

Green lasted 4 years, Mann barely made it 4 weeks.

BTW- when you send out Tweets like this, maybe the station made the right choice.

Note: An earlier version of this story said that the station was owned by Sinclair. It used to be but is now owned by Quincy. Either way, whoever owns it, may have done the right thing cutting ties with this guy.
