MSNBC Tops CNN for Election Coverage

CNN continues to find themselves in last place in the ratings behind Fox News and MSNBC.

For years, MSNBC was the doormat in the numbers, but that torch has been passed to Jeff Zucker's CNN.

During Tuesday night's election coverage, CNN found themselves at the bottom of the heap in the ratings.

Fox News lead the way, followed by MSNBC and CNN bringing up the rear.

MSNBC’s live coverage, analysis and the latest election results beat CNN among total viewers and A25-54 from 7pm to 1am ET. According to Nielsen data on November 7, 2017, MSNBC delivered 2.1 million total viewers from 7pm to 1am ET, 70% higher than CNN’s 1.2 million.

In A25-54, MSNBC averaged 533,000 viewers (vs. CNN’s 464,000), delivering 15% higher ratings than CNN during that 7pm to 1am ET time frame.

MSNBC primetime (8-11pm) averaged 2.5 million total viewers and 653,000 viewers A25-54, outperforming CNN by more than 1 million total viewers and 90,000 viewers A25-54.

And remember, Jeff Zucker calls this the "golden age" of CNN.

Sorry Jeff, but as your buddy Donald Trump would say, that's just "Fake News!"
