It's Not the Time

TV crews in San Antonio were doing exactly what TV crews in Las Vegas were doing just over a month ago.

They were covering another mass shooting.

The last one happened in Sin City, this one happened in a church. No one is immune and no one is going to do anything about it. Well....other than giving their "thoughts and prayers."

For 15 hours, President Trump sent a single tweet about the shooting at a Texas church that left 27 people dead and 20+ others injured.

After Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov from Uzbekistan killed 8 people on a New York City bike path, Trump was sending out a tweet an hour, saying that things had to be done to stop this from happening.

After the Las Vegas shooting the White House was asked if maybe it wasn't time to look at the current gun laws? They responded that now was not the time and it was time to focus on the victims.

Well, just a few weeks later, we have another mass shooting and now it's still not the time. You know....because we have to think about the victims.

I'm all out of "thoughts and prayers" it IS time to talk about it and it IS time to do something about it.

But, sadly nothing will happen and we'll have the exact same story for you in a few weeks when the next mass shooting happens.

In the meantime, please keep the victims of the Texas shooting in your "thoughts and prayers."
