Out the Door at MSNBC

It appears that Thomas Roberts is no more at MSNBC.
An MSNBC spokesperson confirmed that Roberts has left the cable news station.
"Thomas Roberts has decided to leave MSNBC for other endeavors," MSNBC said in a statement. "He’s been a valued member of the NBC News and MSNBC family since 2010, and we’re thankful for his contributions and Emmy Award-winning coverage for the news division. We wish him success in his new adventure."
Roberts was once a frequent presence on the left-leaning cable network, hosting a daily live show in the morning and later a two-hour news program in the afternoon. That afternoon program, "Live With Thomas Roberts," was canceled in December of 2016 after less than two years.
Roberts also became the country's first openly gay network anchor when he guest-hosted "NBC Nightly News" in July of 2015.
While Roberts is out, former Bloomberg correspondent David Gura has joined MSNBC to report on business and the economy.
Beginning Nov. 25, he will also anchor "MSNBC Live" on weekends.
