FTVLive was the FIRST to tell you that Tegna would be parting ways with longtime KENS Anchor Sarah Lucero.

But, there is another KENS Anchor that is missing and of course, the station and Tegna isn't saying much about it.

Anchor Karen Grace has been with the station for a dozen years, but she has been missing from the newscasts for weeks.

Grace is the station's weekend Anchor but hasn't been seen lately.

Grace told the San Antonio Express News, “I’m on medical leave.”

“For privacy sake,” she said, she wouldn’t elaborate, but added: “KENS has been informed of my doctors orders.”

KENS General Manager Tom Cury didn’t mention the leave in our phone interview Monday, however. Instead, he complimented Grace’s reporting, indicating she wouldn’t be returning to her anchor job for a while. “Karen has been doing some great content … and that will continue.”

Cury responded via email: “Respectfully, it is our policy that we do not comment publicly on internal personnel matters.”
