Sources tell FTVLive that CBS O&O KYW in Philly have told the Master Control people that their jobs are being eliminated.

The staff was told that the company plans to centralize master control operations and the layoffs should happen in the second quarter of 2018. 

Word is, somewhere between 8-11 people will catch the blade.

Severance packages said to be generous.

If we were a betting man, we would guess that this same meeting will be happening at other CBS O&O's as well.
