New Weather Anchor Starts on Rochester

WHEC in Rochester is kicking off the November book with a brand new Weatherman. 

Last night, Jeremy Kappell made his debut on air as the replacement for Chief Meteorologist Kevin Williams, who is signing off.

Kappell arrives in Rochester from WDBR FOX affiliate in Louisville, Kentucky.

“Jeremy’s passion for weather is infectious. He has the right blend of experience and expertise to lead our weather team," news director Casey Clark said in a statement. 

Let's hope the staff stays away from Kappell until the penicillin kicks in for that infection.
