KUSA in Denver announced that Anchor Tom Green is returning to the station.

After Green left KUSA he became the Morning Anchor across the street at KWGN. He left that job in May, saying at the time, “It’s just time to change my vista,” Green said. “I don’t have a plan.”

Well, not sure we are buying that, because after being announced as returning to KUSA, Green said, “I always figured I’d return to 9NEWS at some point. It’s where I started my career in Colorado and has always felt like home."

Hmmmm... sounds like someone had a plan.

KUSA News Director Christy Moreno said, “Tom is a legend in Denver. When we learned he was interested in coming back to 9NEWS, it was a no-brainer.”

Green will anchor the 4pm and 5pm newscasts on KUSA starting later this month.

At leats, that's the plan.
