More Anchor Changes in OKC
/It appears that Sinclair owned KOKH (Oklahoma City) is going through even more Anchor changes.
Sources tell FTVLive that the station has hired Chris Stanford as their new morning anchor. Stanford was bounced from St Louis two years ago, went to KAKE in Wichita, and is now OKC bound.
He's replacing Mitch English who held the morning spot for a year after. Sources say that English is being moved to the pay-for-play "Good Living Oklahoma," and will report nightside. So, Stanford will be the third morning anchor in 14 months.
Sources tell FTVLive that the contract for co-anchor, Leslie Draffin is not being renewed. She's heading to KCEN-TV in Temple, Texas, as evening co-anchor.
You might remember her as the woman that started the secret Facebook group for females in TV news. You were only allowed to join if you were in a top 100 market.
Temple, Texas is market 87.
Whew!
